quick & easy Philly Burger
Ingredients:
Plant-Based Burger Patties: Look for your favorite store-bought brand or try making your own using plant-based ingredients.
Sourdough Bread: 2 slices per sandwich.
Healthy Nacho Cheese Sauce: As much as you want Healthy Nacho Cheese Recipe
Minced Garlic: 1 tablespoon.
Sliced Mushrooms: About 1/4 cup.
Sweet Peppers, and Onions: About 1/2 cup sliced for a colorful mix.
Olive Oil: For grilling and toasting.
Horseradish: Optional, for an extra kick.
Instructions:
Preheat and Prep:
Heat a large grill and lightly oil it. Preheat to medium-high.
Grill the Patties:
Place your plant-based burger patties on the grill. Grill the first side until it's beautifully browned. Once the bottom side is cooked, flip the patties and generously smear a spoonful of your delicious nacho cheese sauce on top. Let the patties cook through.
Veggie Sauté:
While the patties are grilling, add a touch of olive oil to a grill pan or skillet. Sauté minced garlic, sliced mushrooms, sweet peppers, and onions until they are slightly tender. The vibrant colors and aromas will make your meal even more enticing.
Toast the Sourdough:
Lightly spray olive oil on each slice of sourdough bread. Toast them until they have that perfect grilled sandwich yumminess. If you like, spread a little horseradish on the inside of the toast for an extra kick.
